Definition of Better

Yesterday I had a conversation with a friend about her once playboy boyfriend,
who incidentally was my friend in high school..

In one particular reply, she told me:

'Magbago ka na kasi..'

Now don't misunderstand, I've never been a playboy - I don't have the looks for that matter..
But then being a guy, I was automatically on the defensive..
Thinking back, I've always been confused about that particular line..


Especially in relationships.


Let's face it, girls almost always wants us guys to change 'for the better'..
Now, whose definition of BETTER is it?

THEIRS?!

Then they'll follow it up with:

'You know I love you for who you are, but you've got to stop being....'

You know how it goes..
Anyway, if they love us for who we are then why the need to change?!
She doesn't love you, she loves the guy who SHE wants you to be..
Hell! If you think about it,
any guy would do so long as he is willing to be who she wants..
I've got nothing against towards these girls..

But I hope they think about this:

We guys loved you for who you REALLY are..
That's why when you ask us why we love you, we can't give you shit for a reason..
Coz we don't know why! And we don't care to know, just that we DO..

Yes, we put into the equation how hot and sexy you are in that bikini..
But you get the drift..
